Common Outstanding Problem Reports

This is a list of problem reports that often occur but that have not been fixed yet either because they are very complicated to fix or we have not figured out why they occur.

Tracker Hardware

• ​PR 5478 Any tracker axis velocity faults

• ​PR 4298 Cold weather torque limiter fault

• ​PR 5452 Tracker lost initialization. Encoders need to be re-initialized.

• ​PR 5222 Any Servo error

• ​PR 5528 Sensor errors because of string pot noise

• ​PR 4461 Tracker oscillations in X

• ​PR 5444 Tracker oscillations in Y

• ​PR 5051 CFD Motor current fault

• ​PR 4381 Failed tracker amplifier, blown fuse

• ​PR 5036 Output line reactor issue

• ​PR 4834 Any brake pressure switch

Tcs

• ​PR 4402 Failed to acquire trajectory for duplicate trajectory id

• ​PR 5584 Failed to acquire trajectory for any other reason

• ​PR 4370 tcs_server exited unexpectedly

• ​PR 4321 Failed to adjust trajectory for tracker position

Pfip/Guiders

• ​PR 4235 Guide probe position limit

• ​PR 5103 Probe encoder out of range

• ​PR 4515 Image jumping on camera

• ​PR 5002 Guide probe position calculation failure

• ​PR 5362 Guide probes over correct

Mars/Hefi

• ​PR 4342 Hefi communications problem

Dome

• ​PR 5363 MOVE_DOME or STATUS_VELOCITY? command failed

Structure

• ​PR 4301 Structure moved to wrong position

Dmi/TipTilt

• ​PR 5582 Tip/tilt spot has interference

Virus/VDAS

• ​PR 5275 Virus server crashed

LRS2

• ​PR 4919 LRS2 server crashed
