Control room audio, settings, recovery procedures, etc

The Dome Audio in the control room is generated from the output of a headphone jack in a computer in the Electronics Rack. 
This computer runs VLC Media player to extract an audio stream that is injected onto the HET network in the dome.

In the event of a computer restart, Stephen Cook has set up the VLC Media player to automatically start and pull the dome 
audio stream from the network. There have been occasions when the VLC Media program needs to be manually restarted and the network stream reloaded.  
The procedure for these steps follow below.

1) Locate the remote that controls the large weather monitor to the right of the TO equipment rack.  Shown in Figure 1.
Use the Input button to change from 'PC' to 'HDMI2' Input.
