Finishing Up

.) Point the Structure and the Dome at 0 degrees and move the filter for Guide cam 1 and 2 and B (found on the PFIP/FCU status) to prepare for evening sky flats.

.) Check the weather. If the dome air conditioning was not effective (or too effective) during the day you may need to open the louvers earlier than sunset to get the dome temperature to match to the outside temperature. Constantly keep an eye on the internal vs. external temperature so that the night TO will have usable truss temperatures for their first of the night stack. The day ops set the temperature for internal based off what the NOAA forecasting site predicts, but weather can change. If it gets dramatically warmer or cooler than predicted, you can adjust the AHU's set point on the tracer webpage or if the conditions are right you can open the louvers a bit to flush out the dome. When opening the louvers during the day, move the switch to individual and open the ones in a safe location away from sunlight so as not to get sunlight on the mirror.

.) If you do open the louvers or the dome, turn off the AHU's and chillers on the tracer page.

.) If you open the dome note the time the dome opened on the night TO report.

.) Look on the Big Screen (or the KVM Monitor) to make sure that the C-Cam is working. Make sure Video Channel 7 is on the Multiplexer if you do not see it initially.

.) Make certain once again that all lights are off in the loading bay, mezzanine, spectrometer room, UER, dome and GTAG.

.) Turn on incandescent lighting in the control room and turn off the florescent lights.

.) When finished with everything, have the check in displayed on the screen in its 'Print Out Form' so the night TO can read everything easily.

.) Once the TO arrives then relay to the TO any problems that arose during OPS.
