Problem Solving:

If the compressor does not start up automatically when the pressure on the receiver tank drops below 100psi, then with reference to Figure 4, do the following:

  • Push the red E-Stop button on the front of the compressor control panel until it latches in the "in" position.
  • Push the white button on the front of the compressor control panel and check that all the lights on the panel turn ON
  • Release the white button and turn the red E-Stop button counterclockwise until the button pops out to the "out" position.
  • Push and hold the green button on the front of the compressor control panel for 5 to 10 seconds. The compressor should start up and keep running when the green button is depressed. If the compressor does not keep running and the receiver tank is below 100psi, call one of the technicians responsible for Facility according to the HET Responsibility Matrix.
