Engineering Tasks

Currently the telescope schedule is 3 weeks (roughly) of science and one week of engineering. The week of engineering is centered around when the moon is predominately in the sky, or ‘bright time’. When we are not in science mode, we are finishing up the remainder of commissioning the telescopes from the HETDEX upgrade and the FCU WFU. The engineering tasks are dependent on the specific needs of the telescope at that time. The engineering tests for a given run can be found on the wiki under Night Operations. If you have any questions about the steps of the tests, ask another TO or Matthew Shetrone. If you find a typo or an error, then make sure to correct it in the wiki so it does not confuse another.
