Submitting a PR (Problem Report)

1) Open a Mozilla Firefox browser in the TO launcher.

2) On the Quick links, Click on the Bugzilla Main Page bookmark.

3) Log into Bugzilla with your designated login and password.

4) First do a query and uncheck “Ignore Closed PRs” to make sure you’re not creating a PR that has already been filed. If it has, use that number in the Night Report rather than creating a new one. Plus, if you do find the same problem has re-occurred before there is probably a solution written out in a closed PR.

5) If you cannot find a solution or that the problem has never happened before go back to the main PR page.

6) Click on either ‘New’ on the top left or ‘File a Bug’ on the main page.

7) Click on the category you are having trouble with.

8) Click on the priority and severity boxes. Choose from the pulldowns the priority and severity you think this problem presents.

9) Do a short synopsis

10) Under description write out the sequence of events for the problem, all error messages that it generated, and everything you tried to solve the problem, and in particular if something you did actually worked and solved it, and what time the error occurred. If the error occurred numerous times, then list all the times the event happened at.

11) Include any useful information to the best precision possible so that day staff has an easier time diagnosing the problem.

12) Submit the PR and note the number in the Night Report.
