3Figure 7 shows how the louvers are numbered by degree so a TO knows which direction the wind is hitting the primary and which numbers to close at sunset and sunrise (if needed).
4During times of wind and rain, you will want to point the structure and the dome into the direction of the wind and rain. This prevents any water which may seep in through the shutter. It is incredibly important to also have the structure and dome in the same direction during times of wind and rain.  Having the shutter direction over the mirror will make sure any water making its way into the dome will not hit the primary array.
5If you have constant high winds warnings, it is best to also have both the dome and the structure pointed into the wind.
6Example: If the average wind direction is 22, then you want you dome and structure to be at an azimuth of 22
